I read this quote the other day...
"Attacking the person and not the argument means you have lost the argument."
It got me thinking... and here are my thoughts.
How many times are we involved in conversations where the person who is upset realizes that they are wrong and instead of gracefully admitting it, they instead verbally attack or try to change the subject in an attempt to distract the other person.
A sure sign the other person is not thinking clearly or knows they are wrong is when they try to get louder and talk over you, or change the subject multiple times to confuse the issue- often to unrelated and irrelevant topics, or begin to personally insult the persons character.
